Glasgow Capoeira presents Prof Boneco from Amazonas Capoeira, Brighton to end a great summer with a 3 day workshop of Capoeira, Music & Maculele.

Workshops for all levels, beginners & first timers welcome!

The Arts Complex is on 40 Cornwall st, Kinning Park G41 side entrance. Best way to get there is to take the Underground from any station to Kinning Park & its the old School on the right hand side as you exit the Underground.

Glasgow Capoeira was invited to perform several demonstrations & workshops on the Kirkcaldy High Street during their 4th annual Samba Festival.

Kids class this Friday(24th July) 4.30-5.30pm is cancelled due to the fair holiday & Saturday(25th July) class 1-2.30pm is also cancelled due to the group performing at the Samba Festival in Kirkcaldy.

Fiaz, Anastasia, and a few others from Glasgow Capoeira will be training at a workshop in Brighton this weekend.

Therefore, all classes on July 3rd (Friday), 4th (Saturday), & 6th (Monday) are cancelled.

The next class will be Wednesday, July 8 at Wellington Church (18:30). See you then!!

South Side Festival

Last week Glasgow Capoeira took part in another community event. This time it was the Glasgow South Side festival at Queen’s Park. Over the course of the weekend (May 23rd-24th), our capoeiristas performed six demonstrations, a workshop, and danced with a local samba group.
